WHAT EXACTLY IS COACHING? 
Psychology and traditional counseling focus on exploring and understanding the past in order to create a healthy present. Coaching, on the other hand, keeps the client in the present in order to create the desired future. The process involves capitalizing on a person's strengths and resources in order to accomplish the desired ends.
Many people have wonderful goals and dreams, but life keeps getting in the way and dreams keep getting postponed. The truth is that most goals are important but not absolutely urgent. The purpose of coaching is to keep your most important goals at the top of your priority list. What I do as a coach is help you clearly define your goals, set up realistic action plans, and finally create the life you've been envisioning.
HOW DOES COACHING WORK?
The coaching client sets up a monthly plan to stay focused on goals and to maintain accountability. This plan can vary according to need, but most people choose four sessions per month. Between meetings, email contact is included and greatly encouraged. For convenience, coaching can be done entirely over the telephone.

The initial session is an opportunity to explore the parameters of coaching, to experience the dynamics of coaching, and to determine if your goals are appropriate for this forum.
